Caricature in colour
Urgent order. Few days delivery.
The client is a web designer (who knows Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator), and he can't tell whether my caricatures are done in Photoshop, or hand-drawn. Should I be happy or sad?
Thought my brush stroke, lineworks , and marker rendering marks already tell people that it is a hand-drawn artwork? Is it that I put up this softcopy online, which gives them the misperception that it is a computer-drawn caricature? (Anyway, even Adam thought I do the colouring in Photoshop too, till he saw me really using marker to colour on the actual artwork.)
Told this client that It will take more time, and thus higher price if I do it in Photoshop, and it won't be this feel.
Maybe one day, I should get in a digital artist into Portrait Workshop to offer digital caricatures service. Ya, then they will have another choice, and I won't be overloaded with works, and overworked.
