Singapore landmarks digital illustrations
A series of digital illustrations for the client's 3D book. These landmarks - Helix Bridge,
Gardens By The Bay, Marina Bay Sands,
Singapore Flyer and ArtScinece Museum will pop by in 3 different laters, when the book is opened up /spread out. The job request ishave simple lineworks, with vibrant colours. I used the brushy style with some little line details for the rendering here.
Client's feedback:-
"Nice!"

F1 racer caricature for SIM University
Client's brief:-
"Hi Jit
I spoke to you yesterday about getting a caricature portrait done, to be ready by next Sunday.
Actually, I have got someone to do it, unfortunately, the resemblance of the portrait to the actual person is not close. Hence, I would like to get you to do it for me but I want to keep the same elements in the picture:
-the subject as F1 racer,
-red Ferrari car,
-bunnies as pit stop crew,
-building of organization (with logos of SIM University and SIM) in background and
-birthday message (Happy 73. From GCS.SIM)
In other words, the same elements to be included but hopefully better portrait that looks more like the real person.
You can recompose the elements any way you like but I need it to be done on a A4 size, vertical format and in ink and colour markers...."

sibling caricatures toasting
A very long brief:-
"Here I am again your returned customer (previous orders: montage & wedding caricatures :-). Thanks again for the great job done! Even my friend is very happy with her orders for her husband 50th year birthday.
This time is a gift for my husband for his 50th birthday. I am sure he will be very touch when he receives the present. Yeah the subject is Siblings.
My husband is very close to his younger sister and especially his elder brother even though they all live in different parts of the world. He loves them a lot and has a very strong bond among the siblings. Ok lah long story short could you please help what is the best way to show the bond among them in the picture.
Attached are two recent pictures which they took last December.
The one in white t-shirt is my husband. Live in Singapore
My brother-in-law is in red t-shirt. Live in the United Kingdom
The middle one is my sis-in-law. Live in Sydney, Australia
Haha you have drew the two big boys before in my previous orders. Hopefully this time the picture images are better.
So far what I can think of is a copy cat of one of your customer idea. To have landmark of the 3 different countries probably inside a globe But I am still struggling to come out with additional background etc which can show their strong siblings bond even though they are in different parts of the world. I know i can count on you so will leave it to your expertise.......
Husband : By professional he is an Accountant. He has recently left his job :-( & looking to do some consultancy works.
BIL: Business & Process Manager
(Communications & Public Affairs
Ford of Europe)
SIL: Part-time Dental Nurse & housewife (haha but pls dun draw her in nurse outfit)
As for hobbies, the two boys loves golfing, football & tennis. My husband supports West Ham & BIL supports Arsenal. Oh ya hor may be you can draw them each in their own supporting jersey.
Kind of embarrass to say that I am not sure of my SIL's hobby. Having said that I just realized that all these while we never talk about hobby :-). I think she goes to gym.
They do skype call frequently but only get to see each other probably every few years.......
Sorry to mess up! This gift is very important to me for my hubby. After thinking through again how about a change not to include their hobbies instead putting the 3 of them closely together, each holding their favorite drinks to toast/cheers (or any action u can think of please) with the landmarks of each country in the background? The 2 big boys can still be dressed in their favorite football team jersey. How about the globe? To include or exclude? Absolutely leave it to your expertise.
Favorite drinks (do you need me to send you the images or u can easily find it when u go goggle search. Thanks ya)
BIL - guineas stout
Hubby - Stella Artois
SIL - baileys Irish cream (haha I am 100% sure she loves Baileys)
To recap, hubby supports West Ham United (haha I alway tease him that not many people heard about this team) & BIL supports Arsenal.
One last one, u think it is ok to put like the following text below each of the character drawn (or again anywhere u think is appropriate to put it)? Font not too big just enough to see & read will do. ...."

Filming for Mediacorp Channel 8 drama - 我们等你
The venue for the filming - Thong Teck Home for Senior Citizens (同德安老院).
The subject who I need to sketch is the Mediacorp actor 黄炯耀.
My task today is to 'act' as another actor 俊良's hand in the drama, doing live sketching of 黄炯耀 doing physio therapy.
The process is too fast to do a decent sketch. Thus, we draw it from the reference photos shot above.
I need to do some live sketching on the spot for the filming, and re-draw a more detail one later when back to my studio.
Filming in progress while I am drawing the portrait on the spot.
Job done for the day, at this point.
Completed version here.

Digital gig for Super Cuddles Grand Opening
A 3-hours digital gig, 11:30am - 1pm; 1:30pm - 3pm, with a 30 minutes break in between for lunch, at Super Cuddles Clubhouse, Tanjong Katong Road.
My digital tools - Macbook Pro, Wacom Cintiq 12WX, Cannon digital photo printer CP800.
4
As discussed with the client earlier, pets are harder to keep still, as compared to kids.
Thus, we agreed to use photos to sketch. The money collected will be fully donated to ASD (Action For Singapore Dogs)
Drawing on the template pre-prepared for the client.
Guessed what? The Cintiq has connection problem. Thank goodness that I have my Asus EeeSlate B121 as backup for sketching! Phew!
The 2 dogs which had passed away. The owner wanna have a sketch of them as remembrance.
Sketching from the reference photo on my iPad.
Printout.
Captured some videos of me sketching on Asus EeeSlate B121.
I think teh decision of sketching from photos was a wise move, as they can't even keep still for a second. Even snapping good photos of them was a challenge!:D
Artificial lifting of the ears!:D
4R digital photo printouts.
Printouts waitng for collection by the pet owners, as well as the funds collected for ASD.
Sorry for the rather noisy background noise in these videos.
