professional boxer caricature
Client's brief:-
"Hi, We would like to have a caricature portrait of our colleague who will be leaving us by the end of this month. We are very much interested in your services. 1. We would like an A4 photo (face & body w/ background of 1 person) placed in an A3 sized paper so we would have space for us to sign around the borders. (in colour marker with theme - with background & body) 2. The background of the photo will be landmarks of Singapore (Merlion, Singapore Flyer, , and his face on Manny Paquiao's body. And on the lower right side will be our company logo..."
Drawing is A3 size. Paper is A2 size, to accommodate for signatures around the subject.

Caricature live sketching for Sycor 10th Anniversary Dinner
An hour gig, 7:15-8:15pm, at Au Jardin Restaurant at Botanical Gardens.
I have a hard time looking for it.
I was placed at a corner. Not many guests noticed my existence..... or they were busy with their social activities...?!

Caricature for Singapore Air Force
Client's brief:-
"Hi Mr Chong, As spoken, will required you to draw out the painting and the collection date will be by tomorrow (19 Jan 12, Thu) evening. My selection is the Caricature in ink (b/w) with theme - with background & body......Attached are my colleague's photo wearing the RSAF uniform (MAJOR Rank) and background theme (Control Tower & a Caravan below the Tower). I've also attached in my "desired" outcome. Prefer the painting to be on a landscape template. And can the drawing be done on a bigger piece of paper and be framed up? Was actually thinking of getting all my colleagues' signatures wishes surrounding the drawing....."

Chinese dragon digital illustration for Singapore Zoo
I was requested by my friend Ivan to do up a dragon illustration for booths in Singapore Zoo for the Chinese New Year festival.
I did the inking on an A2 size marker paper, as I need to blow it up to about 6 feet wide for printing and sticking on the booths.
I scanned it into digital copy and started editing it. Timeframe given was too short for me to draw everything digitally.
Adding in colours to the lines - dragon and clouds.
Added in the background colours and decorative motifs.
This illustration will be flipped for the other side of the booth.

Stage performance for an AXA event
This is what I seldom do.
11 Jan 2012, 4-5pm to rehearse.
12 Jan 2012, 8am-9:15am is the actual event which we need to write/paint the keywords on the backdrops.
The client required 4 artists to complete this job in 4.5mins, in sync with the live drummer performance.
I sought Reggie, Ivan and his friend for help.
The rehearsal.
The mock-up done up by the client.
Testing.
The rehearsal video for us to get familiar of the timing.
This is the actual day of the event.
We managed to get the job done successfully!
