My work featured in a book on Photoshop

One of my works included in a book on Photoshop as a demonstration of what can be done with a graphics tablet. Not sure of what it says though....till a Facebook friend Alex interpreted for me:-

Here comes the tougher part - the background.

Adding in the colors is crazy for this, in terms of amount of time taken and effort required, but the outcome is satisfying.:)

digital portraits for Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS)

Another job for MCYS, via City Neon, instead of Pico Art.
I guessed they could have seen what I did for them previously, and they decided to engage my illustration service again.

Total of 34 portrait digital illustrations this round. They took me quite some time to complete.


Some of them are pretty interesting to illustrate, because of their features, posture, expressions and lighting, while the rest of the reference photos are of very low resolution. I have hard time figuring the features in between the pixels.

I like to add how the white hair brings out the 3D and flow of the hair here.






Interesting expression and posture make good portrait.




He's not smiling in the previous reference photo provided. The client sent another better (smiling) photo of him.
