Caricature live sketching for Tanker Pacific Management (S) Pte Ltd Dinner & Dance 2007
If not for the 2 Panadol pills, I don't think I can finish sketching this an hour event at Swissotel with ease. I had running nose and headache in my gallery this afternoon. Getting more and more sick when I left at about 5:40pm for this event. As I was walking to the carpark, I remember that I had some Panadol pills in the gallery. I went back specially for them. These pills were really useful. After a few minutes, I was felling better.
The theme of this event was retro. Hence, the guess all dressed up with those shiny clothing, bell-bottom pants etc as seen in the 60s and 70s. These created some interest for me (at least something different from the usual event) when I was sketching their faces.
This was one of my favourite caricatures done this evening.
It has been a few years that I haven't draw people with sunglasses on.
Fun!
Another one. He did smile like what you see in this caricature, just that this angle and lighting didn't do me justice.

I like this a lot, especially the hair.
A good one too!
