Nicolas Anelka's caricature took me the longest time to do.
Noticed my pencil sketch has lots of lines? I was sculturing his face, and thinking of how to apply the shades when I am colouring.
To the layman, his features should be easy to draw. Bald head with moustache and beard.
Yes. I have other photos which I can draw out easily, but I chose this photo because it gaves me some challenge, and I think it should come out good - in terms of the shades and expression.
Many details lost here? Yes. I want to let the colouring to do the job.
I played on the lights and shades, gloss, highlights and shadow.
Took me quite a long time to do it, but it was worth the effort. The result was really satisfying.
