A farewell gift from the Property & Casualty Department, to the CEO of NTUC Income, who's leaving the organisation next Jan.
The order came in this Wednesday.
As they need to present it tomorrow at the managers' meeting, it was an urgent order again.
This department is in charge of airplanes, ships and cranes.
They wanted their NTUC building at the background, with the corporate logo on it and and the hull of the ship.
Due to their limited budget, only those caricatures on the top were considered as caricatures with theme, while those caricatures below are charged without theme, i.e. no specific theme.
They saw the caricatures I have done for Havi Global Solutions Pte Ltd. Thus they wanted the same concept. Anyway, the managers' meeting will be held on a cruise too. As they have less people, to brighten up the whole artwork, I use their corporate colours for the ship.
Initially when they came in to place the order, I thought they are refered by the client from the same organisation (NTUC). Later, I found out that the caricature of Minister of Parliament (MP) Mr Seng Han Tong I have done (5th July 2006) below was for NTUC Union. It was differnt.
