Last day. 12:30pm - 1:30pm & 7pm - 10pm.
Same venue.
I tried a different method for this portrait - smudged the hair area, before adding in some hair strokes.
First portrait in the evening session. We were told to change to another corner to sketch, as the usual place which we have been sitting for the past 5 sessions was occupied by their VIPs.
The lighting at the new corner was really bad, due to the angle of the lights. This subject was in the dark, when I sketched him. Thank goodness his resemblance still there.
The light was adjusted. However, about 85% of her face was in the shade. Her nose was straight, but due to the bad lighting, it looked crooked. For Reggie's side, his light and shade were too extreme - too bright or too dark. We tried to changed the guest sittig location, but it doesn't helped. We highlighted to the client on this issue. However, their VIPs were just too important to them......... No choice, and we drew at the same corner throught this evening. I told Reggie - just take out the shade, put in minimal shading. It was always easy to say so, always tougher to do it in practice.
"Eh, you sketched for me in the Bvlgari event!"said this guest.
"Oh, ya!"
Same drawing method as the second portrait done in the lunch session today.
Sketching this lady was like a breeze. Nice and fast oo.
She can really keep still. Distinctive features too.
Reggie told me that she has a portrait sketched by him last night. Oh......
A very kind guest. Gave me and Reggie $25 each as tips.:)
SMS from client:-
"Thanks soooo much Jit!!!
You & ur other artist were a major hit with our guests!!!
Again, many thanks!!"

As usual, Best in the world!
Hey Jit can you tell me where you buy your Copic markers? Is there a place where you can get deals, etc.?
Thanks !
Mark
Thank you, MArk, but certainly not the best in teh world. Still faraway from it.:D
I bought my Copic markers from Art Friend in Bras Basah Complex (Singapore) 10 over years ago, maybe 15 years. You can try searching online. You mean you can't get them from your place?
I have created some videos on colouring with markers on my Facebook Fan Page. You may be interested to take a look.

This was one of the toughest job I ever had, phew...at last it's all over.
Thanks Jit.
Cheers
One of the more challenging job indeed. However, time flies for this event, as we don't have to rush. Only problem is the lighting, I would say. Still, it is not the worst lighting. My worst encounter was an event with disco lighting - moving lights of different colour. They flashed somemore! Since then, I make sure I don't accept jobs in disco and pub with bad lighting, unless they can give me better lighting.:)
