Caricature of Eva Longoria
Eva Longoria.
This should be the last sexy posture for this series of (female) celebrity caricature. Why?
The client told me that they can't use those images like caricatures of Britney Spears, Angelina Jolie etc, as they reveal too much of the flesh, and cleavage etc. And the client will be selling these images as mobile phone wallpaper download in Indonesia. She asked me to add clothes to cover them up. Nearly fainted.
Told them there will be extra charge as the initial brief didn't state that.
The name list she gave me of these female celebrities are mostly sexy.
My first thought , of course, is to draw them sexy, to meet the market demand.
Moreover, she didn't reflect this to me when I sent them the first batch of celebrity caricature. They only feedback to me, few weeks after they received the second batch.
Given that the lines drawn cannot be erased, and adding clothes to existing postures will make them look awful, (Imagine adding a long pant for Angelina Jolie in her current posture, it is as good as censor the cleavage and legs with pixels) the best way is to redraw the body and posture for each of them.
In order for them to be able to sell this image in other countries, my initial plan of drawing her wet in this dress was cancelled. Ink outline was done, when she gave me her feedback.
Can't be changed. Colour part still can be controlled.
So, you can expect the rest of the celebrity caricatures are all covered up.
Wonder how is the demand for those caricatures from the consumer.....
