Reggie got this job, and get me to sketch with him, as his client needed 2 caricaturists for their event.
2 hour event at Brewerkz at Riverside Point.
The guests said this caricature looked very much like her.
She wanted a younger version of her.
She smiled only when I snapped this photo.
Sketched his profile, as his front view can't bring out his prominent nose.
His bald head looked better from this angle too.
He told me he will be the one paying us for this event, when he sat down. I should know what to do. Hahaha.....
Didn't give him special caricature because of this reason, but mainly because of his unique features - big moustache, bald head, nice and unique smile. Spent more time because he requested for a fishing theme. A nice live caricature, I think.
The Nikon SB800 flash batteries were flatted.
Thus, this photo turned out to be taken in the dark.
Edited in Photoshop, and looked grainy, as expected.
Used the in-built flash of my Nikon D80. At least, correctly exposed, though result not as good as compared to bounced flash.
He was excited after seeing the fishing theme caricature, and wanted a triathlon theme, with him carrying a bicycle.
This caricature was a fast one, as time was running out, as there will be another guest wanted to be drawn. Completed this in about 3-4 minutes. Thanks to his unique and easy-to-draw features.
He had several requests. But the time was over. Did this for him out of goodwill. Told him I spent more time on drawing his face instead of adding in sheep or ladies next to him. He agreed.
