Caricature live sketching for Biotherm Roadshow, Loreal
A 6-hour event (12pm - 6pm) for Biotherm Roadshow outside Tang Plaza, Orchard Road.
I am mentally prepared that it will be a non-stop drawing, given that the caricatures will be given to the public for free.
It wasn't that case, in fact.
Perhaps due to the hot weather today, or the passersby tend to shy away from roadshows (from my 2.5 years of busking in Orchard Road)
The product showcased - Biotherm Aquasource.
This will be my workplace for this afternoon.
I was told to include their product - Biotherm Aquasource in every caricature.
Paper supplied by the client with the logo printed on every piece of drawing paper.
The host - Henry.
The manager (?! )
The ink was not completely dried, and smudged when I inserted it into the plastic bag.
Thus, another one for her. A happier caricature for her.
My client.:)
This was a good one. He and his daughter (above) were happy with the outcome too.
I like this too.
This was my favourite caricature done in this event.
The paper provided was a bit 'oily'. Normal felt-tip pen cannot go on it easily.
I used my brush and fountain pen instead.
However, to my surprise, the ink dried up pretty fast. Thus, the strokes appeared dry.
I use the dry brush style for her caricature. Quite satisfied with this im⋅promp⋅tu approach.
This was a good one to me too, as she gave me a big smile. Happy face, happy caricature.
Me in action. Was requested by the client to wear blue and/or white today, to go with their colour scheme.
See the way I bent like a prawn. Drawing with the paper on my lap. Didn't expect the table was this height. Reminded me days of busking......
Last one, and called it a day.:)
