Caricature live sketching for Marina Square X'mas Tenants Gathering
A 3-hour event (6:30pm-9:30pm) at Marina Square, Central Atrium, Level 2.
Non-stop drawing, due to long waiting list.
This little boy wsa distracted by the balloon sculptor at the back, right from the start.
I have some hard time to get him looking at me.
She only smiles big when I shoot this photo.:D
Smiling faces always make better caricatures.
...especially this one.
Only smile when she saw her caricature.:)
Oops, she closed her eyes.
This gentleman really has a comical face, especially his eyes and his bunny teeth.
He gave me the impression of a cartoon mouse.
I really enjoyed sketching him.
This caricature could be one of my most satisfied caricatures omymy past caricature live sketching for events.
This little girl was enjoying her drink. I have problem seeing her lips, for quite some time.
Very obvious... they are sisters.:D
This little girl was lucky.
From what her mum (who was not here with her earlier on) told me, she was here right from the beginning of my session, but not knowing that she has to put down her name on the waiting list. Her mum put her name down, but the queue was already quite long.
I told her that I will try to finish as many as possible, but looking at the rate I was going, she will be unlikely to get her chance. Told her better don't disappoint her by waiting longer. This girl said she wanted to watch me sketching (touched!).
Towards the end, some of those people on the waiting list didn't appear when it was their turn.
There was a woman, who has her granddaughter's name written down, wanted to jump queue. She asked me (many times) to draw her granddaughter first, since she's here waiting for long time, and she needed to go for photo shooting at another booth. What a reason! Told her I go according to sequence, just like I wouldn't draw someone queue behind her, to go before her. There's the purpose of queueing. She was unhappy, and left with her granddaughter. As such, this little girl above managed to be the last one to get her caricature done.
