Pencil portrait of Leonardo Da Vinci

Pencil portrait of Leonardo Da Vinci
Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci (April 15, 1452 – May 2, 1519) was an Italian polymath: painter, sculptor, architect, musician, scientist, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, geologist, cartographer, botanist and writer. Leonardo has often been described as the archetype of the Renaissance man, a man whose unquenchable curiosity was equaled only by his powers of invention.

This was the last piece for this series of portraits in pencil. I left it to the last, simply because this was the toughest one.:D
The reference picture was a drawing. I have to add in part of the shades with some imagination, as it was not in the reference picture. Drawing from drawing, which I usually don't like to do so, as some details were omitted from the original drawings.

Pencil portraits of famous people and world leaders
Group shot.
