Caricature theme - baby graduate
Did a 1-year-old birthday caricature for his brother 2 years ago. This baby is turning 1 year old soon. His parents wanted him in a diaper with a mortar board, holding a scroll.
Thank you for your compliments, Mark. You have nice works on your new blog too! I use Copic markers - The E series, depending on the skin tone of the subjects.:)
I don't have any tutorial prepared on my side.it is mainly through hands-on drawing, practising. I have drawn more than 20000 pieces using colour marker. Your marker needs to be wet to do the job properly. Next is to shade the darker area after the basic layer is done. Don't overdo it. Skill comes from repetition. Sad to say, I don't have a nice colour set for caucasian skin tones.
Jit I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your advice. You are my idol! Last question. When you say the marker needs to be wet do you mean full of ink or do you actuallt wet them?

Hey Jit I absolutely idolize your work! Can you tell me what colors you use for your skin tones? Do you use Copic markers or something else?
