Liang Court engaged me to do a digital caricature demonstration + live digital caricature sketching for their patrons on stage, during their "Wonders of Christmas at Liang Court" this December.
As it was only one hour (5pm-6pm), and to ensure the demo doesn't overrun, we agreed to play a speed painting video which I have done beforehand.
I chose the digital caricature of Hulk Hogan which I have drawn last month. It was a few hours' work which was squeezed into a 4.5 minutes clip.
After the demo, I chose the emcee as the first subject (or victim?:D) of my digital live sketching.
He can't see what I was sketching on my Wacom Cintiq, but able to view it from the projected screen.
Adding in the colours to the digital caricature, while the emcee continued his work....
This end product, printed on a 4R digital photo paper on the spot for him.
The next subject needed to answer a few questions before he/she can get a live digital caricature for free.....
She's the luckier one....
Done, and getting it printed out.....
A video clip which I have compiled and edited in iMovie.
Told me sometime to get use to the interface.
Thanks to my wife for taking the above photos and video clips.
Another 6 hours drive to Kuantan (for a short holiday), before I can rest for the day.
What a busy day......
