These 2 sketches were done about 2 weeks ago. The top one was a pencil sketch on paper, while the one below was done on Apple iPad Sketchbook Pro.
I did 2 more studies of the same reference photo.....
Put them together to choose one for the final drawing.....
I chose the first one to work on further, as I like that form and shape the most.:)
First few layers of colour shades....
Darker shades, adding volume to it....
Added skin textures to the face with some exploration on the skin brushes.... and I enjoyed this process the most.:)))
I am not contented with a half-body caricature, and further developed it with legs....
Got to think of what he is staring at....
Seems like this one is more dramatic....:D
Towards the completion stage....

Tying them together with a background colour.....
And SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE!!!
At last, it was completed. This piece took me a long time.....
