Client's brief:-
"Hi Jit,
As spoken earlier, we will like to get our boss a birthday gift for his 60year old birthday.
We will need to have the item by next Mon-Tue (11-12 July)
We have 2 ideas in mind:
1) An A2 caricature color drawing + background and with frame so that he can hang in his office.
OR
2) A lifesize (1.7m) color standee of our boss.
( Will you be able to draw him up holding a big card or a crocodile beside him so that we can all sign our signatures on the card/crocodile.)
We specialize in crocodile leather......"
The original A2 size caricature, with the caption added in digitally. This digital copy is needed for the printing on the mobile standee.
The client wanted to test out the different backgrounds.....
and different colour schemes.....
They eventually chose this piece as the final artwork for printing.
This is the near to life-size printout (as the maximum width of the paper is 4'. Thus the height has to be proportional shorter.) on compressed foam board before die-cut.
I did the die-cut myself.
See the proportions.
