A 2-hour digital gig (8pm - 10pm) on HTC Flyer at Paulaner Bräuhaus, Singapore.
Pretty bunch of challenges this evening, as compared to my usual gigs.
First, dim lighting.
Second, no wifi available. I've got to use my iPhone 4 Personal Hotspot for the upload and download of the digital caricatures for printing (no wifi printer too).
Third, I have to do roving caricatures.
And I only got to realize these challenges upon my arrival on site.
Anyway, I have encountered several such situations in my past 17 years as event caricaturist. It's just a matter of getting used to the environment (for first and third challenges) and being well-equiped (for second challenge).
Let's get the ball start rolling....

One more sketch of him, without sunglasses this evening.

A side profile sketch of this gentleman, since he's chatting with his friends.

One more sketch of this lady.

She told me that she's fascinated by my sketch on HTC Flyer, and wanted to get one of herself done.

A glimpse of my setup:- Macbook Pro, HTC Flyer and Can CP800 digital photo printer.

The 4R printout with the template of the 3 corporate logos (HTC, Starhub, SIS Technologies) prepared beforehand.

Printing the last few digital caricatures out, and my job is done for the day.

Nice work Jit - I've just acquired an iPad2 and am thinking of doing something similar for 'live' shows.
Is that an A4 printer ?
Man you look so busy ................
Thanks, Tel.
It is easier to draw on iPad2. The resolution and strokes looked more refined.
It is Canon CP800 4R printer. It doesn't support wifi printing. Thus, I have to do it through my Mac. This made me busy. Lol!
