A gift for their boss who is retiring. His dream is to wonder around the world on his cruise.
Some of the characteristics of the staff are IT-Savy, Ah Beng, fishing, golf etc. All these are composed and put into this group caricatures.
Those caricatures at the bottom are considered as caricature without theme, and hence without any specific design.
This company is doing business with McDonald's. Hence, you see Ronald, Hamburglar etc in the caricatures.

Finished artwork. This artwork is scanned in and burn on cd. Notice the difference in the quality of colour and sharpness of the artwork, as compared to those on top, taken with digital camera, and touched up?


Framed with the inscription of the staff message to the boss on the gold metal plate.

Is this theme getting popular among couples?

Two different clients, two similar theme, and both have the artworks printed on animal-handle mugs. Is this theme caricature getting popular?

This one with a dog body and cow body, reason being they are born in the year of Dog and Cow.

This caricature is used for proposal. Similar reason for the theme. He's born in the year of Monkey, and she's born in the year of cow. This is done in black and white ink and brush.


Perhaps this is the last piece of caricatures printed on the animal-handle mug, as the supplier told me that they are not importing anymore of such mugs, as they tend to be broken easily during the shipping. This client is lucky to get the last piece.

Sick, just realised that my digital camera encounters a write failure when saving the photo of a chef caricature. Lost that shot in which I think I manage to capture his essence in his caricature.............heart pain...........

2 valuable photos...

I found these 2 photos in my stacks of boxes in my study room that daywhile search for my airbrush airgun. I have nearly forgotten I have drawn them before, if not for these 2 photos.

First is this photo taken with Christopher Lee Ming Shun, MediaCorp Singapore actor. It is done when I am still drawing in Clarke Quay, Singapore. Looking at the date - it is done in 20th Nov 2001. Wow, that is nearly 5 years ago! I did a live caricature sketching for them. They are shooting for a China/Taiwan TV variety programme, introducing Singapore. The second photo is a painting of a house. I think the client is a caucasian.
If not for this photo, I would have forgotten I have painted this illustration in acrylic before.
I can't remeber the date it is done.
I think this is done before I get my first digital camera bought in 1999, as this photo is printed from those analog camera.

comic illustration on chalkboard for Singapore Biennale 2006 at Tanglin Camp

This Singapore Biennale 2006 event is hosted by Hermes. Venue is at Tanglin camp, a rather 'ulu' area, though it is just off Holland Road. My wife said this place looks eerie, after looking at the photos I have taken.



This is especially for one of the installation arts. However, I think this is one of the best works there, at least it gives me the impact. My apologies to the other artists. I only have time to glance through the works (need to work la) , and no time to watch all your videos.
