Caricature live sketching for GB Yachts Annual Dinner & Dance 2007

This an hour event was held at Siloso Ballroom at Rasa Sentosa Hotel, Singapore.
Initial venue was near the beach. However, when it came near around 5pm (pre-event entertainment starts at 6:30pm), it started to drizzle. The event organiser, Alfred from Events Architects, rang me up and told me there's a change in the venue, as the client didn't want to take the risk of being soaked by the rain for their Annual Dinner and Dance.
These were the photos capturedduring this event.

First to get her caricature done. Quite close resemblance. A good start siah!

Ehmm.......An active girl. Took a longer time to capture her features on paper.

Caricature theme - Javelin

A farewell gift from my regular event organiser -Events Architects, to their best temp staff, as claimed by one of the boss, Andrew.
I have met her a few times in the events. Think so, hahaha........ even though I have bad memory. Don't know she throws javelin.
She will be leaving the company to further her studies. All the best, Shu Wei!

Caricature live sketching for Opus IT Annual Dinner & Dinner 2006 - part 1

An event organized by Event Architects, my regular client. This week, they engaged me as their caricaturist for 3 events, out of my 8 events. (This week was my busiest week, with 8 events within 5 days, and orders flooded in, so much so that I don't have time to sort out the photos, but to piled them up.) Don't know whether they have read my blog or after the AVIVA or Cash Converters events, they noticed that I have switched the medium from pencil to fountain pen. Luckily, the switch was welcomed. My friend Ivan told me that the outcome using the fountain pen looked better too. =)




I like this caricature.

Caricature live sketching for Lonza

Initially an 1 hour event, but the client extended to 4 hours (7pm - 11pm).
Venue was at F1 Pit Building, next to Singapore Flyer.

Almost everyone can recognise her in the caricature, when she was not around and the caricature was lying on mytable for drying.


The Indian lady was another one.
