Caricature live sketching for Performance Premium Selection BMW Public Open House 2010 - Day 1

I have done live sketching events (gigs) for Volkswagen, Renault and Skoda few years back, even way before this blog starts.

Adding this one to my portfolio - Performance Premium Selection (Performance Motors), at Kampong Arang Road, in Katong, Singapore. When I reached that area, I realised it was very near the Katong Community Centre where I did the shooting for Knockout. Just further in.

It is a four day event, spread over 2 weekends.

Today, I was engaged from 2pm - 5pm.


Kick start with one of their staff.



I use quite a different style for this. Sharper and simpler brush strokes.


Further exploration of the style for this gentleman.


This girl has curly hair. I got to keep my sharp strokes. :D

Family caricatures. I have requested for A3 size landscape paper with letterhead on it beforehand. It comes handy now.:)


This was a breeze. Easy and straightforward.:)

Sweet little girl. She maintained her expression throughout the sketching process. It makes my job easier and more efficient.
