Client's brief:-
"JC on top of Singapore Airline plane
JC doing a superman shot with one hand in the front saying “ACCELERATION, REVOLUTION and PREVENT ACCIDENT”
In the background there is the Marina Bay Sands, Merlion, Singapore Eye, Esplanade "


Worked on the main subject first, on my Wacom Cintiq 12WX.

I split the image into 2 becasue Sketchbook Pro doesn't support arge canvas of A2 size , 300 dpi.
But I love the line quality of the brush here - very close to my G-Pen and brush.


Compiling the 2 parts together in Photoshop.
I finally decided to fire up my Wacom Cintiq 24HD again.
Thankfully, there's no burning smell coming out from it this round, after let it cool down for 3 months.
Wish it can last me longer, and not just 1 year odd.
(I have to say - supports from Wacom Singapore to the distributor to retailer are lousy. I am still waiting for their reply since April.)

I don't need to squint my eyes with this huge screen now.:)

We found a drawing on your blog that we like (attached).

We'd like to be in a similar dance pose, with the chiva in the background in Colombian flag colors.....Our clothes are attached too. We'd like to have "Wade & Sandra" somewhere on the chiva or license plate, and lots of white calla lilies in the picture.

Finally, please put in (small) two hugging monkeys."

Indiana Jones digital caricature for GIC

Client's brief:-
"a drawing of our boss instead as Indiana Jones? In the background, can you put words or graphics depicting “Peering through the crystal ball, “NIM mystery solved”, “searching for 1980s artefacts” and also a GIC logo.....Can you also add the words “RSP” inside the crystal ball. The effect should be one looking into the crystal ball and seeing the words “RSP” shining out."

The client requested for this layout, meaning the heads have to be smaller.

Technically, it is rather impossible to draw in the details even at this large scale of 50x70cm.

Thus, I proposed to draw it digitally so that I can zoom in to work on the details.

The Balloons are meant as the space for the signatures of the guests. Good idea eh?!

Titanic posture couple caricatures -- You Jump. I Jump!

Client' brief:-
"Good Morning Jit,
It's my mom's bday celebration this coming saturday and i would like if you can help draw a caricature of her and my dad. We would like you to draw a yacht as we would be celebrating her birthday on a yacht (pictures attached) and i'd like if you can change the number to S210665S instead of SZH1390H and somewhere in the background to have Happy 48th Birthday Mummy! Would my parents on the yacht standing like those "you jump, i jump" titanic pose possible?....."

For Mr Axxxxxxx you can you the map of Singapore as background with him on a sampan  rowing out to Africia"


 Almost the same theme, but different layout - meaning I draw everything from scratch! :D
